Daily Journal August 7, 1998, By-William Thomas Thompson. How beautiful is the life of a believer in God. To wake up with the sound of the seashore on the Gulf of Mexico at Panama City, Florida beach of very white sand deep to walk and play in. I set in the waves breaking and digging me into the soft sand at the Port of Call Hotel and did all my daily exercises in the swimming pool shadowed by the building from the Eastern sun. Trust and obey for there is no other way. With a egg McMuffin on biscuit and seeing on T.V., the awful bombing of two United States embassies in East Africa, I see more of what is to be. A world gone mad and is in the midst of self destruction. This is sad but convenient for our chief to help stop a series of Monica reruns and coming just before the big day of the truth being promised to be told for the first time. Looking presidential and militarily, he stands outside what they now call the oral office and second only to the pope in terms of the world of peace, so called. It is suggested that Islamic world destruction forces did these bombings. An American from the Midwest was the first reported dead in these two East African embassies where we represent God and country among the starving people native land. This is imported terrorism for sure and I believe another sign of the time of the end of our great society when all evil will die. In this soda pop society, we think we shall live forever, but we will die to this entire world before reaching our reward of universal ability with God Almighty in Spirit and power and mobility. As I write, I rise to praise Him who is the “Author and finisher of our faith", "The bright and Morning Star". I envision walking with Him (Jesus) on clouds of glory in the midst of the solar system. Those days are here that are spoken of in Bible prophecy. In Nairobi, Kenya and in Tanzania, two bombs exploded minutes apart and killed nearly 200 people including some Americans and injured about 2000. There is no safe place in the entire world as people die from disease and from the devil's Hell of all evil, mind, body and soul. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer. The mean get meaner and the devil we have with us always. The anti-Christ we have had with us all along until that day when God the Father up in Heaven shall say, enough. Most likely then every gun shall fire and every bomb shall explode. In that time I believe we shall see the coming of the lord and all the dead that died in faith rise up and join that heavenly host of saints that will fill the sky. Thank you Lord for safe travel from the Gulf Coast to Chattanooga, Tennessee from noon to 2 A.M. we drove and then I drove home via Atlanta over 700 miles, we came back roads out of Florida near Alabama and Evergreen to I-65 and North through Montgomery and Birmingham mountains to I-24 through the beautiful Northern and North Eastern Alabama country and through North West Georgia then into South Eastern Tennessee where I want lots to be. There was Lookout Mountain for miles and an old rock castle hotel. We ate at Bea's place revolving table’s restaurant family style in the South of Chattanooga. It was a wild ride as always on wide 75 down to Atlanta for 100 miles. I wish for a safer way, maybe another day and especially for a highway that is construction free. I see that it may never again be possible many times before. God lives and is on the throne, Dear Lord, please make a way. Dear Buck Thank you for coming down to meet me on Thursday. I was surprised to see Dominick with you because it confuses the issue but you may feel you need him for your witness. I put things in writing so as not to be misquoted. It has been said that a person can only remember the truth, so if one tells a story different each time; it may be that he/she does not remember how it was told before. Mr. Domenich said last year that he was 76 and on Thursday. It is no good to shout at each other who’s right or wrong.
